the girl who used to dance on fire and brimstone

so I have an appointment at the hairdressers today and I don't know what to get done. I haven't had my hair cut for nearly two years now so as it stands my hair is pretty damn long - it's down to the middle of my back but it's not healthy at all. (all the colouring I've done over the years is catching up with me now!)I'm also really bored with it now - I never do anything with it other than braid it or put it in a ponytail.

So I want something drastic done to it but the question is what? Do I just say to the hairdresser I've never met before "Do whatever you want", do I go for a season 4 Willow cut (short but still long if you catch my drift) or do I go the whole hog and go for the crop? (I had cropped hair about four years ago so it won't be a huge shock for me)

Decisions, decisions...

(ooo new icon - made by me last night but I'm not sure I like it or not)

....and I love my new haircut! I think there'll be pictures of me with the T-shirt for work on the library site soon so you'll see what I ended up deciding to go with!

So Shaun of the Dead is the best film ever made. Anyone want to argue?

And I just watched Fight Club for the first time (I know, where have I been?!) and loved it. So thanks smileawhile, I now have yet another DVD to add to my "must own" collection...

Now all I need is money to buy all the dvd's on this huge list....

btw, new icon - made by me! basic, using a quote from Fight Club that seemed to fit Buffy, *shrug*, I like it.
