If you are planning to walk for long distances, always make sure you have the proper footwear. Trainers/sneakers are fine, hiking boots are better, work boots (such as Caterpillars, Timberlands etc) are acceptable. The most important thing is that the shoes or boots fit.

Another important tip: if, halfway through your walk, you notice that your sock has slipped down a little and is rubbing against your foot uncomfortably, stop and fix it. Trust me, your feet will thank you for it in the long run.

Now, with that out the way, does anyone know a good chiropadist?

(I will be posting something for my flist later, something which has helped me out of my funk a little, I just need to get some transcription done first)
