guitar//inspiration - me

MONKEY!! (aka monkey_matt)

Phil Cunningham has helped me figure out why it is we don't agree about music at all. I always figured it was because the lyrics and the emotion are prime for me and the melody and tune itself is more important to you.

And I'm kinda right.

West Coast traditional Scottish music just got compared to jazz because of its free-flowing nature, and East Coast is far more structural. Which is why Glasgow ceilidhs are more fun than Edinburgh ones.

And can I just say I'm currently listening to fiddles without complaining?

(and yes, I know you don't like Msr Cunningham - I don't either - but it's still a good programme)
