the girl who used to dance on fire and brimstone

I'm an insomniac at the best of times, but this week I've literally not been sleeping at all. And yet I'm not all that tired now. Is it possible to go through some kind of barrier in sleep so that at some point my body just gave up and said 'fine, you don't need to sleep then, I'll cope'?

Huh, I'm having conversations with my body apparently, maybe I really do need sleep and just haven't really noticed. :)

I got a work email today - our access to the BMJ was down and a student was asking how she could get an article. The kind of email I get all the time and can usually answer straight away - with this one I'd already been working on it and by the time her email arrived I was one click of the mouse away from having it restored so that was good. Nothing really unusual about that except that this girl's name was Eilidh

Now Eilidh is a good old-fashioned celtic name but it's not all that common any more, so it's kinda unusual to see it and made me pay attention a little. Eilidh is also the name of my OC in What A Difference A Day Makes. Something I haven't touched for weeks now and a story which last month was officially a year old.

Thanks to this student who couldn't read the article she wanted on the BMJ, I now have a new lease of life in the story.

Oh, and the WKA site will be launching round two probably this weekend. Baring any more unforeseen circumstances. *g*
