Stop making sense, can't you see that reason has no relevance?
smeckles90 - seriously dude, there's no way someone your age should have been awake this morning when I texted you.
wenchpixie - just sent you an email (which in the time it's taken me to type this you've replied to, damn girl you're quick!). You are teh ev0l

Apparently there was some dude on BBC Breakfast news this morning called Zac something? Thought people might be interested. I think they do a podcast of the show from their site but I have to say, and it's probably my age, I don't see the attraction there. After 9 was when they said he was going to be on, so if you dl the video podcast you'll have to go through about two hours worth of stuff before he appears.

INAP - again, thank you all so much, I now have the money needed to upgrade to a better web host for two years. I will have to take the site offline for a short time to make the changeover but hopefully it can be done without too much interruption. (I'll do it on the weekend first thing in the morning for me so that the offline status is kept to an absolute minimum). Theoretically I should have my broadband access back as of Friday 12pm, so it could be a really quick changeover at that point. I'll keep you all updated with how it goes!

I didn't sleep well last night, so my theories about meds balancing or not drinking alcohol are out the window. I just hate my job, clearly.

Anyways, I have drabbles to write and certificates to plan out for a Harry Potter birthday party on Saturday... oh and I should probably do some work as well while I'm at it!

My local radio DJ just did a rather long spiel on numpties. I thought of you.

Numpties for the win!!

I hope you were thinking of my usage of the word, not thinking of me *as* a numpty?

I was thinking merely of your use of the word, of course. Though, when you go around associating yourself in people's minds with the word "numpty" you've got to wonder...

LOL!

Me? Paranoid? Nah...

Great to hear the INAP news. Sorry to hear about the lack of sleep it may just be stress related you've had a lot on your plate recently.:-)

Is numpty scottish then as I'm sure I picked up my usage of it from Only fools and Horses?

All the dictionaries I've found it in seem to imply it's from a Scots derivative, but I've definitely heard it from English friends as well. I guess it's permeating into the language as a whole - which is great, because it's the perfect word sometimes!

The sleep issues are bothering me a little, they're so unpredictable - one night I can be fine and the next night I'm wide awake at 3am with no hope of getting back to sleep.

Well that's also partly down to the fact that Jared is freakishly tall...

(btw, meant to say in the notes, he doesn't like things on his feet for long? Is that why it's so hard to keep 'em clean?)

Yeah,he's just a wee boy really. Although when the Beeb presenters said "If you don't know who he is, ask your kids" I got a little offended...

The Beeb are indeed fuddyduddies. Another excellent word there!

How can people not have been inundated with zac pictures? Everyone knows Ash, don't they? *grins*

They brought back Doctor Who, true, but they also shut down the cult section of the website at the same time as I was interviewing to be a moderator on the forum there.

Needless to say, I didn't get the job.

Yeah, my boss has been away for two weeks now and my productivity has gone through the floor. It should be worrying but really? I don't care enough about this job to worry!

Hee - it was after 7am but I'd been humming and hawing about texting either her or you since 6am to be honest.

YOU'RE TEENAGERS! YOU SHOULDN'T BE AWAKE THAT EARLY!!!

To tell her that strange Zac dude was going to be on TV... And I didn't text you because I figured only one of you needed to be woken up at stupid o'clock with that news. *grins*

*shakes head* the innocence of youth... there will come a time when you long for the days when you could stay asleep for as long as you wanted and not have to worry about the trains or the traffic jams...

I think it's wonderful that INAP is going to a better home!

I'm so overwhelmed that people have been so generous with regards helping the site out. The support I've gotten for it has blown me away completely.

I'm hoping that with the move to the new host I'll have less security issues to deal with and therefore more time to work on improvements on the site!
velvetwhipvelvetwhip on August 28th, 2007 03:51 pm (UTC)
I think it's great that you will now likely not have to dal with the damn hackers.
