again.

eta I was starting to wonder if maybe this was some weird side effect of my meds, although I haven't changed them apart from experimenting (with the doctor's advice) with the dosages lately. But then I came into work, broke down a little (people are still giving me a wide berth...) and monkey_matt suggested it might be an ear infection. Trust me to go for the complex and unlikely explanation when the simplest one is probably right.

I was on the stairs in the underground, went straight down adn the gasp from the woman behind me on the stairs made me think my leg was turned backwards or something. (It wasn't, I landed on my elbow of all things...)

Ouch. :(

Are you okayish though? Maybe you should try and talk to a Doctor, don't think it's normal to fall so many times...

honestly, not really. I've got an appointment for next Tuesday - just off the phone from them. Now that Monkey's put the idea of an ear infection in my head, my ear's sore. I'm pretty sure it's psychosomatic though.

I've got an appointment to see the doctor next Tuesday and if anything else happens I'll go see student health in the meantime.

I knew the little pain thing in my ear was completely psychosomatic but yay for reassuring me about that!

My elbow is actually really quite sore - it feels like one giant bruise but it doesn't seem to be marked at all.

I could stick my elbow in the cup of herbal tea I just made myself? (It's Tesco's "Balancing" blend. You never know, it might help...)

Very plausible, I mean you're not normally falling all over the place (during the daytime when you're sober) so an ear infection will screw up your balance.

But if your knee is still weak from yesterday that also may have been the cause.

I'm glad you've got an appointment about this. To echo what wenchpixie says, I had an inner-ear infection and the first thing I knew about it was when I fell over. And then kept doing it. There was no ear pain involved at all!

Do look after yourself, won't you, and remember to hold bannisters when going up and down stairs. :)

in queen street station in Glasgow the stairs announce to everyone that goes on them to hold the handrails and no running, saying it once i thought would have been enough but i tells you many many times and keeps going even after you have left them.. it does make it hard if you are trying to sneak up on someone at the platform, not that i do that....

*hugs* as you can never have to many
