Loved the episode except for...

Lilith? Please.

NO!

Just... stay away from this mythology, 'kay?

Show... I love you, but... sometimes you kinda make it hard...

Other than that (which until the end I was going with Ruby being a liar) I did really love this episode. Honest.

ETA the most important thing about the episode?

TATTOOS!!!

Im kinda excited to see where they take the Lilith thing....but yea, Ruby...AWESOME! Poor boys and poor poor Hendrickson...

I'm just worried that if they go too deeply into the Lilith lore it will overshadow the show. For exactly the same reason that I was concerned with the use of Azazel in Sin City, I sit at my desk at work to watch the episodes over lunch, everyone in the room turned round when I said "NO!" and had my hands over my head... oops!

Ruby was kinda awesome in this, but my favourite? TATTOOS!!!! I've been trying to design an SPN tat for myself (I already have a Lindsey-from-Angel one) and now I can incorporate that in! Awesome!

This is very true, and I do feel a whole lot better about SC in retrospect so I might end up liking this exploration. It irks me a little that with all the mythological research the boys have, neither reacted to the name in any way (nor did Dean react to the Azazel thing - possibly because the pronunciation was off...).

I shall see.

BUT - TATTOOS!!!!

Hell yeah...

Maybe they're storing it away for future exposition scenes? Sam's got quite a good poker face though, so he might have known but...

I just sent you a message about the tattoos... Yes, I'd like to have seen some exposition there, maybe we will though? Season's not over yet. (Yay!)

*grins*

'specially if it turns out to be the wrong design or something...

Hee - someone needs to write that if it's not explored in the show (the wrong design thing, not the porn potential because you already know all across the globe the keyboards are clicking away...)

You and me both!

And you, my dear, are an evil enabler! I've never written Bobby before, don't know if I could get his voice. Someone else should...

See, you already have the icon ready to go. I think you should write it.

Hell yeah - I'm loving the tattoos!

I do really like the episode, like I just said on your journal - the majority of it was awesome and depending on where they take the Lilith thing I might really like it in retrospect but I'm just worried.

I trust Kripke though, he won't ruin it.

I was kind of expecting the Lilith thing at some point but mostly because the name has been floating around since Ruby's appearance. I was a little creeped out about her being in the body of a child, it kind of threw me for a second.

I suppose I'm with Wench, it depends which account of Lilith they run with.

And Tattoos for the win! I so wasn't expecting that!

I hadn't heard her name out there so this was a shock to me, and my immediate reaction was "NO!!", but the more I think about it (and the more I read other people's reactions) the more I'm curious about where they go with it. It will be really interesting to see where they take it, which lore they follow, if indeed they follow an existing Lilith lore at all and don't create their own (not likely, but hey - you never know!).

The little girl thing makes me wonder how quickly she's going to grow - there's the 'Colin' link with Buffy season 1/2 ("and a little child shall lead them") but there's also the Stargate link with Morena Baccarin's character (I forget her name) who grew to adulthood in less than a season so that she could lead the army. Or again, the show could use it's own narrative device here.

I am *really* looking forward to seeing where it goes now!

The tattoos... I must admit I do have a slight tattoo kink and this just got me right *there*!

I now have no use for this icon :(

On the other hand... WE KNOW HOW TO SPELL HIS NAME! AT FUCKING LAST!

I don't think he's dead. Not really.

Or even if he is, he could be a zombie - that would be awesome!
Ah yes, quite a bunch of us, isn't it?unhobbityhobbit on February 22nd, 2008 02:24 pm (UTC)
He could join the legions of zombie Winchester friends!

It's more fun to think of them all as zombie than to think of them all as dead.

And the flour that the mice had got into was used for the pastry.

Do you know they don't do meat pies in America?

I didn't, that's just wrong. We should educate them in the ways of pie.

My god, that's a nasty pie. No wonder they all passed out when they were covered in it!

Americans believe they're good at food, but really? Pah!
