Quick question for arty people
Photoshop/Image Ready people - I want to make an animated graphic incorporating what looks like white noise/static on a TV signal. I'm thinking the best way to do it is to use a black/white noise filter on Photoshop on three or four different layers and then animate them in a loop.

I've got no problem doing that (once I'm at a computer with Photoshop etc) but I just wondered if there was an easier way to do it?

I played about with it once I got home last night (after watching Heroes) and it seems like the best way to do it, although to get it to look the way I want it to I need to use about ten frames, but hey - it's not for an icon so the size limit doesn't matter too much!

Thanks sweetie! I tried it last night when I got home and it works pretty well (plus, it's not really that difficult to do really so I don't think there really could be an easier way unless there was a one-click option!)

Thats the way I'd do it if I were doing it myself… have you tried looking at the tue comms? Or doing a google search for tutes?

Cheers darlin'! It works pretty well with the noise filter - just takes about 10 frames rather than 4 but hey, needs must!

I gooogled it briefly but all the links I found were either dead or for porn sites so... *g*
