Dear fic writers.  
I don't blame you for not liking a specific character.

I'm like you.

There are characters I don't like.

But, when you're writing a fic, especially a fic which is likely to be posted to a wider fandom base than your own personal flist, please have the sense to not say 'I really don't like CHARACTER A, s/he sucks, but I'm writing her/him anyway...'

It's only going to make people who like that character predisposed to hit F4 on your fic.

Dude, I totally agree. I see this all the time in HP and it drives me up the wall.

Although dodger_winslow is right that it does provide some kind of warning label. :P
